Retail software company Erply collaborated with Tallinn University of Technology on 2017/2018 semester to give students practical knowledge about working in teams to achieve a common goal. The course was called “Software Development Team Project: procurement
”. Two fully functional applications were created for Erply’s unique cloud platform as a result of the co-operation with Erply and the students of Tallinn University of Technology:
- Project Management application - Application that is used for project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application - An application for managing company’s interactions with customers, specifically focusing on customer retention and ultimately driving sales growth.

Professor of the course Mr. Verrev said that all the students who participated in the course did very well and it was also reflected in their grades. Dealing with real-life problems that could appear when trying to execute customer’s request was a great milestone for students to overcome and gave a practical glimpse of how things work in these kinds of situations in the real world.Since the project went very well, we are glad to announce that we are going to take part in the project next year as well. All participated students who developed applications for the Erply cloud platform got rewarded with Erply’s scholarship. Erply would like to continue with the tradition next year as well and reward the students for their great work with a scholarship.
